WHY THIS FILM HAD TO BE MADE
Nitay Mangala Das is a disciple of His Grace Chaitanya Chandra Charan Prabhu and has been practicing Krishna Consciousness since 2008. He has received both first and second spiritual initiations. From 2010 to 2012, he underwent training in a brahmachari ashram.
Since 2013, he has been actively traveling and preaching the philosophy of Krishna Consciousness throughout the CIS countries. During this time, he has delivered more than one thousand lectures and mantra meditation programs. He is the head of the "School of Preaching," established in 2022, from which more than 300 preacher-students have graduated.
By education, he is a dramatic theater and film actor. For four years, he traveled with his original one-man theatrical performance "Vasya Was Here," using theatrical art to convey the philosophy of the Bhagavad-gita.
He is also the author and performer of the concert program "Raja Rishi — Emperor of Peace," dedicated to the personality of King Parikshit. A concert for a new audience in Yekaterinburg gathered more than one thousand attendees, and during the program more than one thousand sets of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam were distributed.
He is one of the teachers at the spiritual school "Ashraya."

Biography
Currently, he is the head and visionary inspiration behind the "Chaitanya Movie" project, as well as the head of the production company "Two Brothers Production," which is producing the film.
The desire to serve my spiritual master and Śrīla Prabhupāda, along with many years of meditation on what could be done for the world so that people might perceive the teachings of Lord Chaitanya and the Bhagavad-gītā beyond sectarian boundaries — universally, just as Śrīla Prabhupāda did.
At one festival, I was asked to play the role of Lord Chaitanya; at that time, we already had a film studio. After performing this role, I spent an entire month reading Chaitanya-charitāmṛta from morning until night.
Later, after arriving in Almaty in 2024, I discussed with my friend Jayananda Govinda Prabhu the idea of creating films on spiritual themes. He asked me: "If you had the finances, what film would you make?" I answered: "About Lord Chaitanya." He said he would participate.
We then approached our spiritual master and shared the idea with him; he blessed us saying, "Go ahead, work on it." From that moment, everything began unfolding.
I consider this the mercy of Lord Chaitanya. Personally, I am driven by the desire to please my spiritual master and validate the vision he saw, because on my own I would never have dared to undertake such a project.
